So i havea reef tank almost 1year old now, i’ve been struggle with phosphate that always 0.5-0.7ppm tested by Hanna HR, no matter how i have deal with it, i got chaeto reactor, biopellet reactor and even sometimes i have to use phosphat RX but it still reading the same result till last night i did a water change and test my newly mixing saltwater and the phosphate show 0.1ppm so is that normally on freshly mixing salt ??? I did use RO/DI water that come out from Aquatic Buddy and it just few months old while i just use around 20g per month only. I use Aquaforest Sea Salt. Does anyone ever facing it ???

PS: The only algae i got is Bryopsis, I just win over it with ReefHD product.

so is there gonna be alot of problem with it ??? since most people they got their reef tank phosphate undetectable.

If you do not have an algae problem, don't agonize over phosphate, but keeping it around 0.02 ppm is usually the best plan.

there one times i got alot of GHA on my back chamber and phosphate reading is around 0.5ppm and after a while it all just disappear without doing anything so i though it like a cycle of my tank. Anyway thank you
