I read earlier online that if you drip your kalk next to your skimmer intake it can help lower phosphate? I can understand the science on it but does anyone know this to be true? It would be very easy for me to do but I'm concerned about reducing my skimmer performance. I already run a kalk stirrer so I would just drop the output near it. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand kalk helps precipitate phosphate out the water. I guess being by the skimmer intake when it does fall out the skimmer can remove it. This is my guess but I did read the part about running your kalk line to your skimmer intake. Might just be a false statement.

Any chance you have a link to that statement? I would like to read the entire thread.
