Im looking for a phosphate reactor for a new tank setup being built. The tank is roughly 200 gallons with a 60 gallon sump. In my old tank I was using a Nextreef1 reactor but, I believe they arre only rated for 100 gallons. It also will not be in sump. It will external if that matters.

This is the one BRS sells, standard GFO required for 200-gallons puts you at 3.13 cups from what the BRS calculator shows.
 • Holds 6 cups of carbon or GFO (Designed to use only one media)

I'm using the avast mr5 with the recirc modification on it. I ordered the kit and built it myself (was both rewarding and simple to be honest). I pushed it once and had 13oz of media in it and still had room for flow adjustment without any fear of hitting either my foam pad or screen grating..

Not bad at all for 60.00..
