Phosphate sky rocking !

I have tested on Hanna checker phosphorus url ppb. And it’s flashing 200. What’s the safest way to bring it down. The reason it reach that high is my feeding.

Do you let it "slump" thaw in the fridge before use? I usually thaw in the fridge and then strain off the excess liquid if there is any. That excess liquid will raise your nitrates and phosphates.

Do you run a sump with cheato?

I am still fighting the P battle. Dripping 50% phosphate rx before water change. It’s now down to about .29. I had to stop today as I recently got some new corals so maybe next week again.

You need to stop feeding roids. Then clean up the sand and rock of all the left over gunk. After that you can use some GFO in a bag or reactor.

I added a little bit of gfo. I will retest tomorrow.

My advice is not to stir up all the sand. Maybe 25%

I don’t have sand . It’s bare bottom.
