Started growing cyanobacteria in my take so I tested with hanna checker shows 0.08.I added Gfo and with in 18 hours I'm at 0.is that possible.If so how long will it take for the cyno to dye off?

It’s not just feeding off phosphate. It’s feeding off other doc’s as well. Generally it’s your nutrient ratio is out of balance, what’s your n03?

Nitrate is 7.5 to 10

It's possible, and its also possible you may get worse problems than cyano (like dinos) if you keep the nutrient levels too low. Undetectable isn't an optimal goal, IMO. I'd aim for about 0.01 or 0.02 ppm phosphate.
