I hadn't checked my phosphates in months and decided to check them last night. They came up as 86ppb on my hanna ulr checker, which comes out to .26ppm. I remember them being .03 a couple of months ago so I started doing some investigation. I checked my rodi water and found it contains .03ppm, I'm also experiencing tds creep of 2 to 5 ( I use an ato solenoid instead of a resevoir) which may be contributing. This is all being done because I had an issue with a birdsnest, hydnophora, and my first hollywood stunner frag rtn on me. So I'm trying to narrow down the source. Other than that, my parameters are
alk 7.9
calcium 425
phos .28
nitrates 2-5

Could the phosphates at this level contribute to this? As of now I've been blaming my sudden change in lighting to those 3 frags being lost

The phosphates no, probably not. Perhaps whatever else is getting past the filter though might.
