1. Which types of phosphate can enter rock what are the common sources of those that people add to tanks?

2. Is it true that phosphate leaches out of rock much more at lower phs than higher ones? Therefore is one reason for keeping ph high, to keep those phosphates in the rocks and not in the water column? Or maybe keeping a lower ph prevents the rock from having so much P?

I believe that the phosphate in your rocks will at all times attempt level out to your water phosphate level. If your rocks spent a long time in high phosphate water, they would absorb it and leach it back into the water if your water is lower in phosphate til they reach equilibrium.
