hello been doing a lot of reading lately on phosphate removers......quite a few people mention the sea klear product. but there are a few different phosphate products.....i understand this product cannot be dosed straight and has to be diluted in rodi water....does anyone know exactly what sea klear product to get ?? thank you in advance

Sea Klear is a lanthanum chloride based product made for phosphate reduction in swimming pools, and is pretty concentrated, so you either need to use really small amounts or dilute it down. I have not used it myself but most of the posts I have seen about people who use it basically dose tiny amounts and watch their phosphate levels and figure out how much they need by trial and error.

There are a bunch of commercial lanthanum chloride based products made specifically for the aquarium industry that tend to have better and more specific dosing instructions. (I use Blue Life Phosphate Rx myself.) Whatever you use, make sure to go slow because it's easy to overdose and potentially bottom out your levels.

I wrote a dosing calculator that can help get the math right when figuring out how much to dose, hope it helps: http://larryl.emailplus.org/fish/dosing-instructions-phosphate-removers.html
