I’ve had tanks for years and have always had cheato and about a month ago i started running my fuge lights 24/7 because my nutrients were high and to keep my ph up. I’ll tell you, I’ve never had such thick deep green cheato ever! The myth about cheato needing a dark period is just that. It can. Whether it is useful may depend on how much is already there from other sources. It is easy to try.

Brightwell isn't a font of correct technical information (IMO), but Chaeto grow is a trace element supplement (like many others) that can be useful. I'm much less convinced that adding bacteria is generally useful.

On there website they recommend using it with the cheato grow but they also recommend reefbio fuel as well as katalyst never used the bio fuel or katalyst. I’ve Used Microbcater 7 in the past just figure throw it out there to get others opinions I know these companies are always looking to push there products
