What hanna tester do I want for my reef tank? I want to test phosphate levels but I see there tester is ppm and the phosphorus tester is ppb and I could just convert any thoughts?

Because it's made for Marine use as in fish tanks. And the phosphate isn't made for Marine use. Is my guess idk know for sure my best guess

It's a little confusing.

There used to be only the phosphate ppm checker. Then later came the phosphorous ULR ppb checker. Then even more recently came the phosphate ULR checker, which is the same as the phosphorous one, just calculates phosphate ppm for you instead of you having to do it manually. Either of the latter two are better than the first one for our purposes.

Ok so get one of the 2 is what I'm taking from this

Awesome thanks everyone

I'd get the phosphate (most recent version) the timer is extended so you don't have to worry about it shutting off and you also don't have to make the conversion as it displays in ppm already, but that's just what I'd do.
