I use 1+, 2+. The 3+ is unused since my mg has been high from the Aquaforest Reef Salt. I mixed in reef minerals from Aquaforest into my calcium solution to make up for not dosing mg.

I did not have an issue with running high Mg when I was doing my weekly water changes. I switch to a Auto daily water change and I have been running high Mg test since April. My Mg is starting to come down slowly as I get things settled in again with the alk. I use the 1+2+3+, the last batch I mixed the 1+2+3+ up without Mg. Once I need to start dosing Mg which should be soon, I will first dose with Mg+ and then mix a new batch of 1+2+3+ with Mg.

This was my reason for my question and my fix. I have been running the salt in my system for over 2.5 year with great results.

Yeah, the salt has been great for me the past year. I have had three buckets, all recording over 1700ppm newly mixed. No real problems. Maybe my snails are lethargic? But it's minimal. I wish it wouldn't mix so high. I had a thread about it a while back. I believe a few others confirmed the same findings as me. I used three different mg tests, and even had a LFS test the mg as well. All super high. Aquaforest said I could send them batches (900g) of each to get tested by them, and if it was high they would send me new buckets. Just never had the time, but I'll probably do this soon. Just a bit of work to get 900g of each bucket and then package and send it back.

I have not ever tested a fresh mixed batch, I should to that just to see.
