Looking to switch my files from RAW to usable on my website and other areas.

Which one is most user friendly?

Lightroom.

I learned what I needed to learn in a couple days. Not too much to it.

Trying to just convert RAW to JPEG and black out the back possibly. can some one post a link for it? i google it and looks like its 10 a month when i go to there site? is this correct, sorry I'm a total NOOB! haha

if your a newb. go light room. photoshop is the best. but you can hand draw the coca cola bears with it. a basic photographer gets lost in there.
the draw back to light room you dont get clean edges on darkening backgrounds. you shade them like with a pencil.
learning curve to both. photoshop is harder imo. test drive them both.

so is the 9.99 the best for me? i believe that gives us both

Prob the best to start with. Ive been on subscription so long I don't know the best deal.

I have been using darktable for a while now and I use it as my primary RAW editor.

Darktable's tool set is unmatched , The software helps you do a few things. Namely organize and edit.

Darktable is similar to Lightroom in use case, and GIMP is similar to Photoshop.

If you're just starting out and have no preconceptions, I'd highly recommend Darktable, solely because it's free (as in beer and speech) and really powerful if you take some time to learn more with it.
