I’ve been growing nano for about 4 -5 months with no real issues to this point. This batch was a little thinner with the same 10 days between start and harvest and I noticed a different smell like there could be some bacteria or some funk competing in the culture. I’m pretty anal about sanitation and I hit everything that touches the culture including the containers, air line, and utensils with Star San in between batches. I learned the hard way with home brewing the importance of sanitary practices.
So my question is, is there any way to sanitize the F/2 nutrient prior to adding it? That’s the only thing I can think of that went in unsanitized. Or am I being crazy and I just need to add more nutrient and give it more time.
