I'm considering putting Reefbreeder LEDs on my tank. Currently it has a 36" 8 bulb ati fixture with a reefbrite, but I want something a little sleeker. I ran dual 32v2s on a previous 60g tank and was quite happy with the. My question is, what light should I go with? The tank is for acropora grow out and is 36x24x12 tall. I'd prefer the mounting height of the LEDs was no more than 10" off the surface. On my previous 60g 36x20x20 tank I ran dual 32v2s because i felt the spread of a single fixture wasn't enough front to back of the tank. This tank is wider, but also shallower so maybe I could get away with a single 32? Or run 2 16s, with the option of adding a 3rd down the road if needed. Any recommendations? @Reef Breeders

Hey! One Photon 32-V2+ is more than enough light, however you may want to get it up higher, probably 12-16" if you want to get really good coverage in such a shallow tank.

If you want an insane setup, our Photon 32-V2+ paired with a set of lumenbars would give you tons of coverage at 10", and you can use our apex compatible power supply to dim your lumenbars as well- one power supply will power 2 36" bars.

What is the difference between your lumen bars and the Reefbrite XHOs?
@Reef Breeders

Wattage, form factor, spectrum, and price. We use 3watt LEDs with optics, and have several spectrums to choose from. The XHOs are all 450nm I believe.

What would you use to supplement my current fixture?
I have a 72"x36" tank. (footprint) with the T5 hybrid
2 blue plus
1 coral plus
1 actinic
and the 50" Photon V2+

It sounds like you already have a ton of light! If you want to add more- we do have 60" bars. I would suggest 1 each of the Royal Ice (blue+ kind of color) and High Octane UV (Actinic)
