Hey all,

I just got a bunch of reefbreefer photon v2’s in and I just set up my light schedule. It’s going to be a mixed reef and my tank is 30” deep while the lights are 13” above the tank (brs recommendations).

Does anyone have any input, suggestions, thoughts? My max peak is 4 hours long.

Sorry for the terrible hand writing.. I’ll probably end up making an excel sheet of the numbers.

I have the photon V2+ 48 about 14” above the tank on my 30” deep 120g. I had 3,5,6 on 80%
with my whites on 40%. I have since cranked them up to 100% whites at 50% 2 weeks ago. Honestly after running it since last October, all my LPS thrives under it I mean the growth is amazing from my last light but any higher end SPS have to be kept high to get into an acceptable PAR. I hope this info helps you out

Great thanks, that just saved some time. Appreciate it..

I'm thinking about changing our black boxes to this light, any suggestions for acclimation? So far have had very bad results trying to put corals in, I think this will help, but I'm worried about laser blasting them if the lighting is too bright when they first go in, which is what I think happened with the ones we've tried to date...
