Well I got some photoplankton in a bottle from algae barn mixed 1.5 gallons of water to 1.020 put it in two clear coke bottles
And 1 ml of liquid miracle grow. And 60 ml of algae barn photoplankton. Put clear air line in bottles and started slow bubbles . They are outside under my cazebo where the sun can hit them . Water was clear ,day 3 defiantly green today ,will give it 10 days.

Miracle grow may contain stuff you don’t want in your tank. Dunno if that’s true but guillards f2 solution is designed for this application and ain’t expensive.

I would NOT use miracle grow nor place them directly in the sun as the temperatures can reach extremes.

Lable says nitrates and phosphates on the miracle grow bottle isn't that what we have in our tanks . High of 80 here in indiana . Just an experiment. I can filter them with coffee filters.
