Photosynthetic Gorg not opening?

Hi all,

Got this photosynthetic gorg ~4 weeks ago, started out by looking great, even had like 1cm of growth on the tips. Recently it's been closing a lot and now hasn't opened for 5 days.

Any ideas? The only thing seems to be a bit of something growing on one end.

I’m not sure exactly which type of gorg you have, but all of my photosynthetic gorgs grow well in the right circumstances.

How much light is it getting? They need a decent amount of light, so it might not be opening if it’s in a low light area.

How much flow is hitting it? I have a few different varieties, but they all like the flow on the stronger side (except for one that likes moderate). Is it getting enough flow where it’s at?

Finally, are you feeding the gorg? This is pretty important for growth and wellbeing of the little guy. Photosynthetic gorgs get some of their nutrition from the light, but they still need supplemental feeding. Do you currently feed anything like reef roids/benepets?
