Photosynthetic sponge and coral dip

I ordered a blue photosynthetic sponge and I’m wondering can I dip it using revive? I know I cannot expose it to air but I like to dip my corals before adding them to the tank.

I ordered a blue photosynthetic sponge and I’m wondering can I dip it using revive? I know I cannot expose it to air but I like to dip my corals before adding them to the tank.

Most photosynthetic sponges seem to be really tolerant to air, they are different than other sponges. I remove mine from water all the time and chop them up.

I own several different ones.

I have no idea about the dip but I wouldn't. With corals it gets only on the outside of them. It seems like it could get inside a sponge.
