Just wondering what are ALL the corals that are photosynthetic. I wanted to know what’s out there because I’m trying to create a reef that doesn’t require me to do special feedings. Just part of my low maintenance tank. I have some hammers, favia, and palys that seem to be doing fine with just my fish feeding schedule. Wanted to of all the different species there are from fellow reefers.
Thanks in advance.

The majority of dendrophyllid cup corals available for purchase in the hobby are NPS as well as like 70% of the gorgonians. Several of the brilliantly colored tree-like softies (Dendronepthya, sclerenepthya, litophyton, etc) are also NPS. If in doubt just post and ask

Yeah tunicates and most (like 99%) of sponges are also non-photosynthetic but then again they're not corals
