Physical Damage, Disease, or parasite?

Chloroquine works best; but being you have an anthias to QT, I would use copper + metronidazole: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/metronidazole.298762/
Thanks. So do you recommend the metro as a preventative or only if I observe symptoms? If as a preventative treatment would i use 250mg/20g or 500mg/20g?

Also, since you recommend dosing metro directly into the water column for Uronema, should I do it before/after copper or is it okay to do it simultaneously? QT Tank will be a 20g (filled with 16g) with a 4" sponge filter, aquaclear 30 and a koralia nano 240gph pointed at the surface.

Thanks!

When running fish through copper, I dose metronidazole 2x to guard against brook & uronema (which copper does not treat). I use the higher 500mg/20g dosage with no noticeable ill effects.

I dose metro while copper is still present in the water.

OK so only dose 2x instead of for 10 days as if you were treating metro? Do you dose once a day for two days in a row?

Thanks!

I dose once and then redose 48 hrs later. That should eliminate brook & uronema for prophylaxis. However, if an active infection is observed I feel more aggressive treatment is warranted: 45 minute formalin bath, followed up by transfer into a new/sterile QT, and dose metro every 48 hrs for 10-14 days. Probably going a bit overboard, but better safe than sorry.
