I was reading a few pages on phytoplankton cultures (including the sticky) and a few said something about washing the fert water, but none said what that was or what it looks like, so that's my question. Thanks

Edit: I know it stands for fertilizer water...but how do I wash it
 
So I googled "wash the fert water" ... and this thread came up, LOL! (How do you wash water, anyway?!)

Thanks you too. As my culture gets closer to being ready to split, I think I see what they are talking about. I won't say for sure until I take the air offline and let it settle

Because it's in my display, and the whole thing is murky and green . . . (>__<)

Oh lol, that'd be a nice excuse to add a filter feeder. Plus your copepod colony must be huge
