Phytoplankton dosing to eliminate dinoflagellates?

No this is a tried and proven method ...although alot depends on which dinos you have and it will also be together with either raising n and p or UV light in conjunction with that gets results .....I myself have been dosing silicates..too induce a diatom bloom ..too out compete the amphidiniums that I have ...I have also been dosing phytoplankton and copepods too help out compete the dinos ....I also know that @Fudsey was also successfull using this method ....

Yes it worked for me but there was more to it than just dosing phyto. I did manual removal daily and added tisbe pods. I also raised my NO3 & PO4 as mine were very low at the time.
