So I bought phytoplankton from Mercer of Montana this is gonna be my first time doing the change so I can start a new culture, as I was doing that I went to get a container because both of my cultures didn’t fit in one so when I looked at the rest of the culture I was moving I saw these little guys, I’m not sure what they are, they look like brine shrimp, I just started into the saltwater fish and thought of doing the whole auto sustained thing got phytoplankton and copepods you experienced people know that but my question is, is that bug/critter ok am I wrong to assume is a brine shrimp? What is it if not? Is it safe? I’m sorry I’m a newbie in this thing that’s why I’m asking

Pics a little fuzzy but looks like egg casings of some sort - possibly plankton cells
Just a guess

Those definitely look like brine shrimp to me in the newer pics. Wonder if they culture them nearby and there was a bit of cross contamination.
