I will have to add a picasso trigger to my reef tank. I have already removed all of my snails but my starfish remain. My green brittle starfish is huge. About a foot across. My trigger is a good eater and always well fed. However, he has never encountered a small invertebrate and I do not know how he will react. Has anyone kept starfish with a picasso trigger? If you have what are your experiences? If I kept the starfish in to test, the trigger may or may not take a bite. I dont want to test because puting the starfish in this situation is cruel but at the sametime you will never know until you do it.
Thanks

I have a sand sifting starfish that has been in my tank over a year with my small Picasso without any issues. The trigger did eat all of my snails, crabs, and urchins.

Thanks for the reply. So +1 on adding the picasso. I'll wait for other people to reply.

Does anyone else have any experiences or opinions? I want to get as many responses before I move him this weekend.

WOW, that's one large starfish!

Ya he is. Feeding from leftovers isnt enough for him anymore. I got to feed him manually. It's large size might discourage the 5 inch trigger, but also it prevents him from hiding well in case the trigger decides to attack.
