My wife and I cannot decide
From Left to Right
20" Tall 50 gal 6' tall stand, Tank is flush to door tops, tank has a 3/4 overhang in front as it is flush.
20" Tall 50 gal, 6' tall stand, Tank bottom is below and behind front doors. So there is a 3/4 inch lip around the tank and it sits recessed.
24" Tall 60 gal 6' 6" tall stand, Tank is flush to door tops, tank has a 3/4 overhang in front as it is flush.
Choice doesn't matter as I am building the stand / tank. This will be my interm tank until my basement is renoed and I can use the 120 or larger by that point. Then it will probably become a display refugium. However the way I am designing the stand the left 1' shelf is removable and then I can put a 36" x 24" tank instead of 24"x24" if I want.
Next photo is with the 24" tall cube and doors open to give idea as to how I'm going to route things. This will be the same on all tanks.
Thank you for your input,
Ram
