Picked this guy up yesterday

Picked up this crazy looking chalice colony from a local store. They thought it was a good idea to put it on top of the red fun one of the tanks to get more light. So has a little bleaching

But nice red rim. And convict like striping. Can't wait til it colors up and heals from the bleaching!!

That looks really nice, keep us updated! It is rather sad when stores place things and areas and sometimes forget to observe how they're actually doing. At least its in a good home now! Get it back to beauty~

Thanks guys they had it for a few weeks. 2 weeks ago I advised them to move it down. And they took the advice. It was almost white

And when I went in yesterday. It looked a ton better with the colors coming back so had to pull the trigger

That in named store is my new spot for picking up nice colonies

I need to drill a hole in the macro lens cover to clean it. It has dirt on it and can't get to it

The lens was only like $8 shipped

But it can take some awesome pics (when clean)
