My friend tore down his tank and had an Apex for sale. Came with the display, 8 and 4 bar energy outlet, all probes, DOS, and some others for 400!Only had 1 year of use. Needless to say I jumped on it for the price.

Now I have absolutely no clue how to set this thing up or program it...smh.

Anyone have any tips?

I understand that my question is in broad in spectrum. If there are links for basic run down I'd love to read them!

There are Get Started Guides on Neptune web site: https://www.neptunesystems.com/getstarted/

It's best to initialize a used Apex base unit back to factory defaults so you start off fresh. You can do this easily using the display module. First, disconnect everything but one EnergyBar and the display. Then, press the center button on the display to bring up the menu and navigate through the menu using the up & down buttons and using the center button to select or execute a menu option. Go to System->Init Memory->Init All.
