Picked up an aussie Acro from my LFS

Hey guys so I was at the LFS trading in some of my corals and saw this acro. I saw it a week before and it caught my eye because it was ugly lol. But It was there today and since I wazs trading in some stuff and planned on picking up some rastas I was like Might as well give the coral a chance. It is about 4in long and I want to try and document the coral whether it dies or becomes the next homewrecker I want to see what colors OI can pull out of it. The LFS has had the coral for two weeks and was running the same lights as I do so that was kinda what made me purchase it.

I've got something that looks a lot like that. It's smaller, and has a slightly deeper purple color. It was sold to me as an unnamed acro too, but it is encrusting well and growing. I have it in a high light/high flow area. Personally, I think yours looks awesome.

Preciate it. I think I may be able to pull a blue . color out of it as the tips of it have a slight tinge of a blue and that is a reason I bought it as well.

I think it looks cool! I got a purple acro and it eventually started to grow with blue tips

Glad tyo see some of yall following along. So far the corals has good PE and believe color is improving but IDK yet lol.

Hey guys a quick little update. The coral is doing well the PE is crazy at night and it has since started encrusting/growing which is great!

Honestly I think the color has gotten deeper and maybe a tad bit of a bluish color. But It is kinda early to tell. It is sitting in about 200-250 par still im just making sure it is completely healthy before I touch the coral lol. But here is a quick pic under my daylight lighting.

I also found out that an acro crab had made it pasy my visual and dip inspection so thats kind of cool lol You can see his leg in the front of the coral right. It is kind of a tannish color compared to the rest of the coral.
