Picked up some live brine shrimp, what now?

I just got back from our local frag swap and was offered a bag of live brine shrimp for free... so I took it. I just fed a little to my tank and my fish just attacked it. My questions is:

I have what I would guess to be 150-200 more in the bag. Would it be worth it and is there an easy way to raise and reproduce these? If I put them all in the tank would they just get eaten, or would enough get away to actually start building up a continuous population in my tank? Should I put all of them in at once, or a little at a time? When it was given to me the water in the bag was cold as if it were refrigerated. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with this and if there is an easy way to keep the population going? I am looking stuff up right now, but would also like to reach out for some people with experience as I would like to get this going asap if I am going to at all.

If you have a fuge they will reproduce there. Brine takes 3 weeks to mature and start laying eggs. I seeded my system with them once ( with a copious amount) and they established a breeding colony in a couple months.

I do not have a fuge. My sump has 2 sections, one with the skimmer and the other with the return. I do not have a dedicated section that does not have pumps that would suck them up if they got too close this is what I figured and I really don't have room to set up a separate tank just to breed them. Maybe I'll just dump them in and hope they at least last a while and give my fish a nice snack from time to time.

You could dump them in an overflow. They'll end up there anyway.

K, thanks. I'll probably just feed them to my tank over the next couple days and see what happens. Maybe when I'm better set up with a fuge I can try again.

You'll need to keep a bubbler in whatever container you keep them in. And may want to check salinity as I once had brine supplied to me at 46 ppt

I saw that while I was watching videos that one video showed them being cultivated in 90 ppt salinity I just drained them as much as I could for now in a solo cup with holes poked in the bottom going into another cup and then dumping them in quickly.

I usually just keep mine in a cool whip container in the fridge. They usually only last a few days, but sometimes I'll get a week out of them.

Looks delicious! I'm thinking it might get kind of costly for what it is to keep getting some every few days. The closest LFS to me that is decent and has them is about 40 minutes away and I don't really have time for all that. I'm thinking I'll just try again later when I have the setup to actually hatch them and keep a supply going. I was pretty excited about this because I got a blueberry gorg today and supposedly baby brine is great food for them, but here's hoping for the best with what I have.
