Hi all,

I have two, recently added threadfin anthias and a well stocked 70 gallon system. I have tried feeding them mysis, plankton, rods food, reef frenzy, and frozen brine. They will eat some of the reef frenzy, but not all. I feed them at least 3 times a day but they are getting dangerously skinny, not to mention my nitrates are increasing in my attempt to provide enough food. Any recommendations from the anthias experts? Thanks in advance.

Is the plankton more similar to mysis sized or cyclops sized?(there are a few types listed as 'plankton'). The smaller reef plankton will be more readily accepted.

Fish eggs are almost always eaten by finicky planktivores. San Francisco Bay has capellin eggs or Asian food stores carry tobiko.

Mysis size; Small particle size doesn't seem to make a difference, at least not the the most finicky of the two. I almost bought LRS fish eggs at a LFS, but the price would be unsustainable over time. I'll try an Asian market. Thanks!
