So I set up a pico. 2.5 gallon Fluval Spec. Basically gonna just be soft corals. Zoas, Mushrooms, and such. Question is what else if anything could I put in as far as livestock? I know most fish are out of the question but what about a shrimp or 2?

IMO you can definitely get 2. Any pics of the setup thinking about getting a pico tank

Was just talking to someone from LFS. He said even 5 with Pom Pom crab would be ok. Which shocked me. Probably do that and maybe do a rock of Zoas or maybe Xenis. Nice and simple. Lol

I have a 90 gal now that I’ve had a while so figure I’ll try a pico. Never tried anything this small so we will see. I heard parameters are a pain to keep in check. But nothing ventured nothing gained I guess

Don’t know about 5 Pom Pom crabs but then again my opinion.

No, not 5 crabs. Lol. 5 sexy shrimp and 1 Pom Pom Crab. Lol

I’m so dumb....lol but I still wouldn’t do 5

Sexy shrimp will work. I'd say 5 .always keep an odd number 3,5,7 etc

I actually decided to get 4 and a Pom Pom Crab as well. Also have an anemone and Clown Goby and all are doing awesome!
