Pico Cookie jar 1.9 gallons Heater question

Hello , anybody running small tanks around the same size ? I am hunting around for a reliable heater not sure what watts to use. Thanks , any tips would be great too !

Tetra preset 78 degree are perfect. If they take up too much room just glue corals on the top area and let them take over to use some space. They're sealed and last pretty much forever, I had one go ten yrs and just changed it out preventatively

At that size you may want to look into a heated mat to place under the jar. You can find some for reptiles, but you may find better prices looking at gardening equipment. I know they make heat mats to place under starter trays that folks use to get seeds started indoors before planting season starts up. The mat will let you have maximum space in that tiny jar for other stuff.

I've seen people use those Betta bowl heaters. The inkbird controllers seem popular as well.

hm, im looking at it , but does it stay on 24/7 ? how does it know when to shut off if overheating (reptile heating matt)
