Hello, I just got the eshopps deskmate pico tank recently and am not sure how I should go about stocking in terms of fish. I have a clown goby in there now and would like another fish. Do you think a clownfish would be too big/produce too much bioload? I am running a skimmer on the tank and also will run GFO to lower nutrients. thank you!!

If it's the 3.8 gallon one I'm seeing online, you definitely can't fit a clown in there as well. Sorry mate.

More about space for the fish to live happily than even keeping nutrients in check.

I'd stick to just the goby and look at some interesting inverts to put in there. Sexy shrimp, pompom crabs, ect.

A skimmer on that tank is overkill. If you want to lower nutrients, add coral. I have a clown and a firefish in 4 gallons, and they provide enough bioload (as far as fish goes) to keep the PO4 between 0.06 and 0.10.

My clown is getting too fat for this tank, so I may rehome him.
