Pico tank setup help

hi I’ve looked after a few reefs over time but I’m looking for a suitible pico and was thinking of the fluval spec 3 as a starting point

If anyone can recommend hardware upgrades? I was thinking of a small bit of live rock some gsp and possibly a fish?

Ie what can I use for lighting, should I upgrade the pp etc

Stick carbon in the filter

Any advice appriciated

I think that tank would work, maybe. For lighting i’d do something diy, with led light strips or just soldering individual leds together.

I would upgrade the return pump for a better pump wirh a little higher flow. A small powerhead in the tank for more flow. Lighting will need to be upgraded as well if you want corals.
