Pico to nano tank

So they say this hobby is addicting and it is. So i started with a 6g fluval edge tank just thinking i just want to have a clownfish and little bit of corals that ended up having one to many of corals. Now i had too many tanks that was on my list but in a very limited space. So many going back and forth with my decision but just dont want to pull the trigger. Then my wife gave me a go signal to upgrade but theres some condition terms of having a stand and how it will looks like. My son wants to see a blue tang in my tank so my plan had another detour. But when i had a hard time looking for a stand told my wife cant have a blue tang under 70g and i cant find a stand that will match her likings. I told her ill just go on using our counter top as a stand as where i have my edge right now. So i decided to buy the nuvo 30l and it is an impulse buy since she was going on vacation. Then i realized that is too big and im going to spend more than i think of spending. Tank didnt even leave the ups truck and told them its going to be returned. Back to drawing board and i finally decided ill just settle with 20g. So i my only choice of tank will be the nuvo or the promised cvue tank. Since cvue is still not in the market i just went to nuvo 20g. Then i told myself i want more room that the sump is occupying. Then thats it i bought the nuvo black 20g tank same style just more room.

Everything is clear and open. No lost so far.

The only mod i did with my tank is put a foam board on the back since its not fully black. Just tinted and you can still see everything. So far the only project im working on is the mesh and i bought a flex arms for the ai.

Yeah the plan was the light shouldnt be there on the side but i miscalculated the cabinet to my tank by a hair so i cant put my light underneath it. Just wating for my lid clips and it should be gone.

Tank update.

I was able to fix my light and tank cover problem. I bought the flex arm for my ai and made a diy mesh tank cover.

As far as casualties i lost my wrasse. Corals seems ok. Still doing a manual top off. Quarter of a gal a day. Im still looking for ato.

I got it from petco. My son loves it being there too. It has some gsp on its back already and im going to let it spread out on its shell.

Tank update. Everything is still doing good. Getting some pods next week and making my ac20 as a mini refugium. My nitrates went to zero and phosphate im not sure since i still dont have a tester for that. Manual dosing with alk and mg. Calcium seems to be stable at 440 range. Feeding fuel red sea abcd.
