Pics from today

Very Awesome tank!

Would you mind giving me some specs on what you are using to dose, like what brightwell product you are using?

Thanks Austin! Sure, I dose 2 part cal and alk, mag, strontium, potassium, restore, mb7, bio fuel and use neo marine salt. I used crystal sea bioassay salt for a few years and had one too many dirty batches before switching to neo marine a year ago and i couldn't be happier. Unfortunately I still manually dose, but will be settign up a new doser soon along with a new sump design, skimmer and controller.

Thanks everyone. Here are a couple more pics.

still in love with that wrasse
hopefully see you out at F&F sometime soon.

by the way that shortcake is looking good, about the same size as mine is now.

what do you keep your params at? alk/mg mainly my question

That's a good looking tank, and the blue lighting does a great job hiding your dusty sand bed. ;)

Haha. Thanks! I didn't think putting a rug in there would be a good idea. :p Glad to see your sites are still running. Looking forward to seeing a new reef set up from you.

Definitely see you out there sometime. I've been keeping my Mg at 1500 lately to rid the tank of dino's slowly. PWC water supply really sucks. Alk stays around 9dkh. Ca is way up there at 500. Lol. Bringing it back down now. My sandbed turned into a rock, so I've been removing it with water changes. That SS is a mini colony now along with another one that's in there too. I got an extra for fragging out awhile back. I see a lot of look-a-likes going around lately labeled as SS's, but are in fact A.microclados. It'll be interesting to see those frags when they grow out for people and look nothing like A. Nasuta, which is the true SS.
