I bought a male pictilis anthias over the weekend and until now I have yet to see it munch on any food that I drop into my tank i.e. New life spectrum pellets, garlic soaked mysis shrimp, TLF's zoplan zooplankton.

Anyone managed to wean them on pellets and frozen stuff?

Have you tried brine shrimp? I have a pair of anthias that wasn't into anything until I used brine, now they will take mysis and the male will sample pellets.

I had an anthias that hid for about a week without eating anything. Then one day he must have finally got comfortable in his new home and started eating anything I put in; brine, pellets, flakes, artic pods. Now he's one of the first over to me to feed and actually nibbles on the end of the pipette I use to feed. Maybe yours just needs a little more time.
