I'm writing a review of Picturesque Aquatics. I ordered three ventralis anthias, a flame angel and Hawaiian cleaner wrasse. Dealing with them was a great experience. I was able to see the fish and specify what sizes I wanted for the flame and wrasse as these were part of their "stock" fish. I was in constant contact with the owner and even relieved follow up after getting the fish from UPS. Everything was packaged professionally and was exactly as I was shown in the pictures...I lost two of the ventralis, but anyone who has tried to keep these guys can attest to how poorly they acclimate, so I don't really feel like it was the fault of the supplier. They could have been acclimated a bit longer before being offered in my opinion, but once again, nothing I'm going to point fingers over. The flame angel being only two inches, is getting quite well and the Hawaiian cleaner wrasse has awesome colors and is already trying to clean his buddies in the QT tank. The male ventralis, flame angel and wrasse are all eating and doing great, can't wait to get them in the main display tank! The owner was lightning fast to reply to any and all questions (as long as you remember what time zone he's in, lol), and the fish that didn't make it were covered under his policy. Over all a very good experience! If you're looking for hard to find fish and Hawaiian fish at a good price with great service, don't hesitate to drop these guys a line!
