I bought a rainbow splice from poto a few weeks ago. It showed up and basically died on one half. I emailed them just so they were aware it was not doing well and could die, not to try and get a replacement. More of a status update and I said I was doing everything possible to save the coral. They emailed me back saying a replacement was being cut and would ship out in 2 weeks. They replaced a 600$ coral that was only half dead, very impressive. The replacement showed up today happy as a clam. Their 14 day guarantee is no joke.

Wether it's gouging or not, they could have sold that piece they gave me for free for probably 700$ or $800 fairly easily.

In all honesty this piece is a steal at 600$ for what people are willing to pay for a splice.

I’m happy there’s a vendor that will reply to an email. I’m not too happy with TCK, spent a lot lately and both LV tenuis dead within days. Splices and everything else is fine. Maybe they don’t t ship well. Anyways, sent them an email the first time, no reply. Sent another to see if they reply. WWC reply’s, not TCK. I do have other tenuis that are fine for those who will ask that question.

Not if the 600 dollar customer comes back again and again and again.

Also, if I had a 600 dollar acro frag in my tank I would be sleeping next to that thing guarding it 24 7 from everything else in my tank.

Been to POTO twice and overall great guys and beautiful coral. Highly recommend. My corals made it 30 hours in a car (a few other fish stops on the way home).

Agreed. I’m having a ‘why did I do that moment’ I’ve purchased quite a few high priced lately. I guess it comes down to what you want in your tank.
