That is zoapox! Start furan 2 dips immediatly! Use tank water add enough furan to turn it pea green, soak for 30 min for 4 days then let rest for 3. Then repeat 4 more days dip, rest for 3dayys. Do tthis for atleast 3 weeks. May go away after first week, but if you dont continue dips it will return.

zoa pox, everyone told me h2o2 dips dont get rid of zoapox but it did 4 me, furan2 is the best choice tho, just a little more difficult!

um i may be wrong but the picture i saw on coral pedia does not even look like this polyp.. its not that it is in bad health, i took the picture right when the lights came on so it had no time to open up.. and its only one single bump, dont think its zoa pox.. ive seen it on a thread on here somwhere just cant find it..

given time they will produce up more. i have dealt with it 3 times on the same small frag it starts as one or 2 small little white pimples and starts spreading. they wil continure to open up for a while. i had it on 3 different frags i managed to save 2 but the one i liked the most, that had it the worse didnt make it threw they second round of it.

give it a little time some polps may be able to fight it off on there own but if you start to see more i highly recommend starting furan 2 dips.

and in my opinion your better off being safe than sory specially if thats a nice frag..

its VDM, and i dont have any furan to use.. i read somwhere a little earlier that nothing actually takes zoa pox away or is at least know for a fact to..

I did a risky zoapox treatment. You take the zoa in a cup of tank water. Very slowly drip the alk part of 2 part till the zoa slimes a little. The zoapox will flake right off.
2 part?

theres 1 bump zoa pox...if this is the only zoa that has it and nothing on other else,u can just take out of the tank and poke it gently with a needle adn squeeze out all the white stuff...its like squeezing a pimple....then brush off a bit and dip with lugols or any dip that u use....i have done this method before if its only 1-2 tiny bumps...then after that just keep checking and checking if it comes back....

this is just what i do...

Even if if it is not zoapox, h2o2 dips are harmless,if performed correctly. I dip ALL of my zoas in h2o2 about once a month; it kills algae and most pest that would be living on the frag disk or on the zoas themselves!

Better safe than sorry.
