Everybody might hate me for being a salt water fisherman, but I set pin fish traps and always get plenty of 1 to 2 inch pin fish in my traps. To the un-knowing tank viewer they might look cool. Has anybody ever had them in their tanks ?

I reckon they will eat smaller fish (and if i remember correctly get fairly large themselves).
Don't know about the digging, they do get up to 4 to 6 inches in the wild (personal experience) but I think all fish besides herbivores eat other fish, not planning on keeping the pins unless its a pin only tank. oops, new idea in the works. They are not really reef safe are they?I reckon they will eat smaller fish (and if i remember correctly get fairly large themselves).
They dig around in the sand a fair bit as well do they not? Really rather pretty though!![]()
