Pincushion urchins feeding

Didn't get much love on the local forum. Though I would repost here.

The wife spent some time trying to capture our two pincushion urchins doing their job. High rez photos here and I will add the embedded video but the only real way to watch this is to download the HD version and use it full screen on your nice big computer monitor at home. Rewards if you take the time as you can see bits of the algae actually being consumed.

Great pic and video. There's just something about urchins I like. I had a pink one just like in your pic but got I gave it away since it carried all my frags around.

I will watch the video tomorrow with my high speed internet. I love my urchin. He keeps picking up live snails so I took off the snails and I put a whole bunch of little rocks and empty shells around him and he has picked up everything so far. At least it is easy to get them to let go of things!
