Pine stand center piece removal

That looks like it is there to prevent wracking rather than to support weight. That said, I wouldn't remove it. but relocating it is no problem.

Im not talking about the one on top. Picture is deceiving. Im talking about the one that is vertical between the doors. Basically i want a non obstructed opening in the front
