Pineapple sponge bothering GSP

The pineapple sponges are under the mat and seem to be bothering. Ever since they appeared the gsp has been closed and when I removed one they double . What can I do ?

Add more flow. Sponges like cryptic zones and gsp likes flow so if one is thriving the other will not...
