Pineapple sponge problem help

They took over my live rock and in my sump even have to clean out my return pump a few times. Any ideas on how to get rid of them. I know there harmless I just would prefer to not have them.

Little shots of hydrogen peroxide works as well as some nudibranch will eat them.

Don't scrap them as that spreads them faster.
 
The good news is that these are short lived and are derived from silicates mainly from RODI units. As silicates break down, so do they. They generally form in darker areas

yea I herd about them. Will definitely take what your saying into consideration

See I don't make my own RO water I go and buy from my local reef store
