Pink Birdsnest Bleaching

Hi all,

I have 2 pink birdsnests right next to each other (see picture). The one on the left is perfectly healthy but the one on the right is bleaching. Why would that be? (Sorry for the bad picture).

looks like both are receding for whatever reason. its just that one is kicking the bucket before the other. (i could be wrong)

judging by the placement i would suspect flow. (turbulent flow, not aim a powerhead at it)

the 2nd could be high alk.

generally birdsnests are fuzzy.

No, the one on the left is thriving. The one on the right has completely bleached at this point.
Only thing I can think of is the transition from my frag tank but the parameters are typically the same (granted I haven't tested in 2 weeks).

perhaps a better picture would clarify as it looks blurry.

the one on the right looks RTN to me.
left looks like its on a springboard to RTN.

could a clearer photo be taken? thanks
