I have a 55 gallon DT in my basement where my 2 year old daughter plays. She has requested a pink fish. This tank currently holds 2 clowns, a yellow watchman goby, clean up crew, several lps corals and a couple sps. Any good suggestions to please my dear 2 year old?

How about a fairy or Flasher Wrasse? Many of them have a lot of pink!

Anthias like to be in groups, I think a 55 wouldn't accommodate a group of full grown Anthias comfortably.

Some wrasses have pink as well as hawkfish or bi color dottyback. Anthias as well but unsure if 55 gallons would be large enough for a group of them.

As stated above, sunburst and blotched anthias are just fine kept singly. As do pink square and bimaculatus anthias, but 55g is on the small side for these 2.

Female pencil and flasher wrasses are pink, as are a few fairy wrasse females. Halichoeres trispilus stays pink through it's life. Aurora goby has pink stripes. A talbot damsel is a peaceful damsel that is predominantly pink.

Avoid sixlines and mystery wrasses, as well as purple/magenta dottybacks(though not orchid dottybacks) unless you are prepared for fish whose aggression increases over time.

Thanks for the info! I think the 55 is on the small side for the anthias. Might go with an orchid dotty back if she likes it. We'll be checking the lfs this week and narrow down her choices.
