Pink fish???

I have a 150 gallon tank, and I would like to add a pink fish. I want one that is easy to care for and will be able to hold its own with my current livestock. My exquisite fairy wrasse, although they are usually peaceful, is actually aggressive most of the time. How much of a terror would a mystery wrasse be?

Current stock is as follows:
Longfin Fairy Wrasse
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
Yellow Tang
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
5 Green Chromis
Blue Hippo Tang
Royal Gramma

Maybe look at an anthias?

Looking across the room at the Bartlett's in my QT, the small female shows a lot of yellow, but the male is a pink fish with a yellow top.

Fathead sunburst is another one to look at.

Among the fairy wrasses, I've seen some pintail fairies (C. isosceles) with a lot of pink, accented with yellow detailing.

Perhaps a pink-bar aurora goby, one of the larger shrimp-gobies . . .

You may not like this answer but if I've got an aggressive fish I'm worried about I would remove to either my sump or another tank for a few days while anything new has a chance to settle in. I also hope you quarantine any new arrivals.

I have a mystery wrasse who has been a model citizen for more then 4 1/2 years. I had to remove a melanurus wrasse who was bullying the mystery wrasse. That being said, I realize he could change at any moment. I would love to get a leopard wrasse, but there is no way I would take that chance with the mystery wrasse in the tank.

Bartletts will hold their own. One of the large bodied anthias, such as pink square or bimaculatus would work.

Some mystery wrasses can be peaceful, but more often than not they can be pretty aggressive.

Mine are still in QT, where there isn't a lot of aggression going on, but if TJ (Eatbreakfast) says they can hold their own, I'd take him at his word! I hope you find your pink fish - and that it's a perfect fit!

That's a distinct possibility although I would say if your gramma is accepting you will likely be fine.

My gramma and dottyback got along fine but they were added simultaneously.
