Pink Flat Blobs on rocks falling off

Hello-Trying to figured out what these little pink flat blobs are that are growing on the rocks then fall off and pile on the sand. It's a lot thicker then the coraline agle around it. Any help is appreicated.

Could be dinoflagellates. Need some pics in white lights if you can.

Are the red things kind of like bubbles, but maybe longer (oblong) rather than round? If so, it is a type of algae related to bubble algae.
