Hi all. I noticed something that was growing at the base of my drag. This Goni has been in my tank for 3 weeks. Now is retracting more than expanding. Parameters are fine as well. The thing that is growing is whiteish in color. No idea what this is. Any thoughts ??

If you think the polyps look bothered then why not. Sponges don’t do well when exposed to air. Should be easy to take that plug out and scrape it off.
